New Bedford, Mass. – Cape Cod Stingrays General Manager Alex Berard announced today, February 8th, that the team has acquired forward Derrick Pinches from the Quebec City Harfang in exchange for forward Lindon Stallworth, a Year 3 second and a Year 4 fourth round pick.
Pinches, 23, has appeared in 110 games for the Harfangs in Year 1 and 2, recording 24 goals and 24 assists for 48 points and a plus-18 rating. The American native was originally selected by Quebec City in the fourth round (82nd overall) of the 2023 Inaugural Player Dispersal Draft.
Stallworth, 26, has skated eight games for the Stingrays in Year 2, tallying 1 goal for one point and a minus-four rating. Stallworth also skated 26 games for the farm organization, the Cape Elizabeth Schooners tallying 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points and a plus-eight rating. The American native was acquired by Cape Cod in a trade with the Halifax Chaos over the summer.
