Halifax receives Martti-Veikko Rotsa and a Year 5, second round pick.

New Bedford, Mass. – Cape Cod Stingrays General Manager Alex Berard announced today, March 19th, that the team has acquired goaltender Terrance Audet from the Halifax Chaos in exchange for forward Martti-Veikko Rotsa and a Year 5, second round pick.
Audet, 27, has appeared in 27 games for the Chaos in Year 1 and 2, recording 14-10-2 record with a 0.912 save percentage and a 3.11 goals against average. The Canadian native was originally selected by Halifax in the 6th round (125th overall) of the 2023 Inaugural Player Dispersal Draft.
Rotsa, 20, has skated 8 games for the Stingrays in two seasons, tallying 1 goal. Rotsa also skated 110 games for the farm organization in two seasons, the Cape Elizabeth Schooners tallying 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points and a plus-two rating. The Finnish native was acquired by Cape Cod in the 12th round (277th overall) of the 2023 Inaugural Player Dispersal Draft. Rotsa was an integral part in the Cape Elizabeth championship run in Year 1, contributing with 5 goals and 5 assists in 19 playoff games.
