So the curiosity in Hartford continues regarding Ford Pritchard.  Here's what we know,   Pritchard will be joining the Nissen next season, where remains to be seen.  Currently he's 15 years old, stands over 6' tall and weighs in at 200 lbs.  Pritchard is spending this year playing at an Academy in Kelowna where he currently has 45 point in 22 games played.  He's currently leading the league in scoring.   After talking with a few staff in Hartford it's clear they would love to see him wear the Hellcats uniform next season.  Coach Vlodek said "There's always a lot of hype around young players, but I think he's the kind of kid who comes right in and can take a major role in this league.  Having had the chance to meet him at the family events it's clear he's a good kid and loves the game.  You can just see how he fit right in with the guys, he belongs here and he knows it.  As a winger I think he could challenge for a top line role on most teams in this league.  He's got great hands, nice vision and is a better skater than most kids his age or even at this level.  He's gonna fit right in I have no doubt. " 

It looks like the mystery player in Hartford has been identified.  Hellcats defenseman Kolton Pritchard has said that his younger brother Ford is the player that drew all the attention at the father son skate.  So what else do we know about Ford Pritchard?  According to Kolton , Ford should be in the Nissen next season and his hope is that his brother will join him on the Hellcats.  Ford isn't quite as big as his older brother but Kolton says he's always been a top player for his age.    When asked who he thinks his brother compares to  Kolton was hesitant to draw a comparison but did say he doesn't believe his brother will have any trouble fitting in at this level. 

Update - Erik Dina spoke with the media and while he did acknowledge that his brother was there this past weekend he said the buzz isn't about him.  

The Hartford Hellcats took some time over the All Star break to host players families.  During this time there were a few interesting developments.  During the father son game the Hellcats had a few siblings join the team to take on their Dads.  Since there was no formal roster and this wasn't a public event the details are a bit fuzzy.  That said there's been quite a bit of talk that one of those younger siblings put on a bit of a show against the Dads.  Local media and a regional scout have been trying to find out exactly who this younger sibling was.   Some people are saying it was the younger brother of Center Erik Dina.   As of right now though the details are all unconfirmed.
